Brief Description
We are passionate about finding a cure for prostate cancer! Join us at our 5k Race and 1 mile Fun Walk on Saturday, September 11, 2010. We have something for everyone!
There will be a Kid’s Zone, live music, free food and beverages and great give-a-ways.
We are committed to participating in this worthy national event in order to bring attention to our local community the importance of early prostate cancer screening and detection.
200,000 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer this year and 28,000 men will die as a result of this disease. Awareness, screening and research are the keys to fighting prostate cancer.

Free Prostate Cancer Screenings for Eligible Men*
You may be eligible for a free prostate cancer screening performed by a Conrad Pearson Clinic physician. Screenings will be held on race day at the event site on a first-come,
first-serve basis from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM. For eligibility questions, please call 901-252-3411, ext. 3399.
*Eligible men must be 50-75, or age 40 or older if African American, or have a first-degree relative diagnosed with prostate cancer, and have not had a screening in the last 12 months.
