Brief Description:

Its time to DASH! Join Urology Austin for the DASH FOR DAD 5K Run and 1 Mile Fun Walk with a Boot Camp Warm Up to support ZERO — The Project to End Prostate Cancer. DASH FOR DAD is part of the Great Prostate Cancer Challenge®, America's Premier Men's Health Event Series and taking place in 34 cities in 2012.

Bring the Whole Family:

This is a fun event for the whole family. All ages are encouraged to participate. For the safety of our runners, we do not permit bikes or roller blades on the course.

Stroller Policy:

We believe that a fit family is a happy family and we allow strollers on the course. If you are participating with a stroller, we do ask that you start in the back, do not weave through runners, and yield the right of way to runners.

Pet Policy:

For the safety of our runners and walkers, we do not permit pets on the course or in the event area by participants or spectators. Pets are only allowed if they are service animals.

    Please arrive early. Race start time is 9:00 AM

Picking Up for Your Friends & Family:

We do allow runners to pick up Bibs and T-Shirts for their friends. Please note that T-Shirts cannot be mailed. You will not need to show us your ID or copies of their ID to pick up for others.

Course Map:

Timing & Scoring:

Chrono Track Timing – Disposable tags will be used at this event. You must wear a tag to be timed and eligible for awards. Age group awards will be determined by tag time.

Hazardous Weather:

There is a SLIGHT chance that if there is a national weather or similar emergency where troops are being deployed we will have to postpone our race to an alternate weekend in November or December.

Directions & Parking Information:

Camp Mabry Military Base, Austin, Texas 2200 West 35 Street, just west of Loop 1 (MOPAC Blvd.) .

Camp Mabry Parking Information: Is open to the public. The parking entrance to Camp Mabry is on W. 35th Street just west of Exposition Blvd. Once through the security checkpoint (photo I.D. required), you will be directed to parking. Please make sure to bring your photo I.D
