September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month

The disease is most common in African American men, men over 50 and men with a family history of prostate cancer. It’s time to focus on men’s health—support the men in your life by helping to end prostate cancer.
About ZERO — The Project to End Prostate Cancer:
ZERO challenges the complacency of American men to change their attitudes about early detection as the solution for prostate cancer through awareness, outreach, advocacy and research. The Washington, DC metro area leads the country in prostate cancer death rates.
More About Prostate Cancer:
Nationwide, a man dies from the disease every 18 minutes. But there is hope—education about prostate cancer risk and access to screenings can save countless lives. All proceeds will go to prostate research and free screenings in the Washington, DC area to those at risk.
About the ZEROHOUR Newsletter:
The ZEROHOUR newsletter is the resource for the latest news regarding prostate cancer prevention, treatment and research. This free newsletter reaches 30,000 men and their families every week in an effort to help them stay healthy and guide them along their treatment and life with prostate cancer.
