Races will start near Cancer Survivors Park at Memphis Botanic Gardens at 8:00 AM. Event headquartered at the pavilion by the lake just past Cancer Survivors Park. The 5k event will start near Cancer Survivors Park and take place on the roads bordering the Botanic Gardens, ending back in the Gardens near the pavilion by the lake. The half marathon will share the same start as the 5k, but will take place on the roads that border The University of Memphis campus and will pass through Tiger Lane before returning to finish in the Botanic Gardens.

Lace up your sneakers and join Conrad Pearson Clinic and ZERO — The Project to End Prostate Cancer on Saturday, April 28, 2012 for the DFD – Memphis. The race is part of the Great Prostate Cancer Challenge®, America’s Premier Men’s Health Event Series, which takes place in 32 cities in 2012.

Stroller Policy:
Participants in the half marathon & 5k events with strollers will start at the back of the pack for safety reasons.
Pet Policy:
We love animals, but no dogs or any pets are allowed at our event.

Race Day Registration:
- On site registration April 28, 2012 begins one hour before event starts.
Bring the Whole Family
This is an event for the whole family. A Kid's Zone will be available, post race live music, post race food and beverages, etc. Post race entertainment will be provided by Landon Lane and The Ivories. All Prostate Cancer survivors are encouraged to meet at the pavilion by the lake at 7:35 AM for a group photo prior to the start of our event.

Timing & Scoring:
Chip timing operated by S2F Timing will be provided for registered 10k and 5k runners.
Hazardous Weather:
While every effort will be made to conduct the event, the race will be cancelled if it is judged to be hazardous to the safety of all participants. Entry fees will not be refunded.
Directions:
Enter the Botanic Gardens from Perkins Extended by Cancer Survivors Park across from Theatre Memphis. Drive past Survivors Park and volunteers will direct you to event parking.
