Brief Description:
Bring the whole family and get ready for the St. Cloud Dash For Dad 5K chip-timed race, Kids 1k and 1 Mile Family Fun Walk. Competitors from across the State are invited to pick up the pace against prostate cancer. Lace up your sneakers and join Adult & Pediatric Urology, the Coborn Cancer Center and ZERO — The Project to End Prostate Cancer on Saturday, September 15, 2012. The race is part of the Great Prostate Cancer Challenge, America’s Premier Men’s Health Event Series, taking place in 34 cities in 2012. Funds raised go to local and national prostate cancer research, education, and advocacy.
The 2012 Dash for Dad is pleased to be a part of the BLEND Fit Kids Club series.

Start Time:
- On-site Registration: 7:30 am
- 1k Kids Run: 8:30 am
- Family Fun Walk: 8:45 am
- 5k race: 9:00 am
Registration Fees for all Activities:
Must register by August 15th to be guaranteed an adult tech shirt or kids t-shirt
Jr. Advocate
- $10 (kids 12 and under)
Advocate:
- $25 (13 and older)
Team Advocate:
- $70 (4 people of any age participating in the same event) Prizes will be awarded for the largest team, the team that travels the furthest, the team that raises the most money and the most creative team.
Legacy Advocate:
- $100 (includes race entry and recognition at event as Legacy Advocate)
Stroller Policy:
5k participants are not permitted to have strollers. Bikes, roller blades and scooters are not permitted.
Pet Policy:
Pets are allowed at the event; however, all city ordinances must be followed.
Fundraising:
Your first step is registering for the event. The second step on the path to finding a cure for Prostate Cancer is fundraising.

Awards:
All kids who complete the 1k will receive a medal. Awards will be presented to the top male & female overall in the 5k run plus the top male & female in the following age groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, & 70 and over.
Picking Up for Your Friends & Family:
We do allow runners to pick up bibs and t-shirts for their friends. Please note that t-shirts cannot be mailed. You will not need to show us your ID or copies of their ID to pick up for others.

Timing & Scoring:
The race will be timed utilizing chip timing.
Hazardous Weather:
Rain or shine. If determined the day of the race to cancel due to hazardous weather, registration fees will not be refunded.
