Brief Description:

Adult & Pediatric Urology and the Coborn Cancer Center invite you to join us in the fight against Prostate Cancer. The morning begins with a 1k kids run and 5k timed race. Then join us for a leisurely stroll down memory lane with a lineup of classic cars. The DASH FOR DAD is part of a national initiative designed to raise funds for prostate cancer research and community awareness. The race is part of the Great Prostate Cancer Challenge®, America’s Premier Men’s Health Event Series, taking place in 27 cities in 2011.

Start Time:

  • On-site Registration: 7:30 am
  • 1k Kids Run: 8:30 am
  • 5k race: 9:00 am
  • Car Show Check-in: 9:00 am
  • Car Show: 10 am – 2 pm

Registration Fees:

1K Kids Run:

  • $10 through September 10
  • $15 through Race Day

5K Race:

  • $25 through September 10
  • $30 through Race Day

Car Show:

  • $10 through September 10
  • $15 though Event Day

Stroller Policy:

5k participants are not permitted to have strollers. Bikes, roller blades and scooters are not permitted.

Pet Policy:

Pets are allowed at the event; however, all city ordinances must be followed.

Fundraising:

Your first step is registering for the event. The second step on the path to finding a cure for Prostate Cancer is fundraising.

Packet Pickup & Early Registration:

Register in person or pick up your bib and t-shirt.

Awards:

Awards will be presented to the top male & female overall in the 5k run plus the top male & female in the following age groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, & 70 and over. All kids who complete the 1k will receive a medal. Vehicles will be voted on by participants and trophies will be awarded for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place.

Picking Up for Your Friends & Family:

We do allow runners to pick up bibs and t-shirts for their friends. Please note that t-shirts cannot be mailed. You will not need to show us your ID or copies of their ID to pick up for others.

Timing & Scoring:

The race will be timed utilizing chip timing.

Hazardous Weather:

Rain or shine. If determined the day of the race to cancel due to hazardous weather, registration fees will not be refunded.

Take Highway 15 to CR 120. Turn West on CR 120. Turn North onto Connecticut Ave S.
