The DASH FOR DAD is part of a national initiative designed to raise funds for prostate cancer research and community awareness. The race is part of the Great Prostate Cancer Challenge®, America’s Premier Men’s Health Event Series, taking place in 27 cities in 2011.

Join U.S. Paralympic Wheelchair Curler Agosto "Goose" Perez for the Race

Perez has had three bouts with a rare form of cancer, which have resulted in disarticulation of his left hip and the loss of most of his quadricep muscle. He works closely with The Hartford, a founding partner of U.S. Paralympics, helping to positively change public attitudes and perceptions about disability.

  • $30 Through Race Day

Kids’ Fun Run (Includes T-Shirt):

  • $10 Through July 29
  • $15 Through Race Day

Stroller Policy:

5K runners are not permitted to have strollers. Walkers will be allowed strollers. Bikes, roller blades and scooters are not permitted.

Pet Policy:

Pets are allowed at the event, however, all city ordinances must be followed.

Join a Team Today:

Join together with your family, friends, or colleagues to create a running/walking team. Awards will be provided to the largest team, best team T-Shirts and top fundraising team.

Awards will be given to the Top Overall Male and Female Finishers and the Top Male & Female in the following age groups: 15-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60 & Over
